- 35 hours per week / nine-day fortnight
- Salary range between $1521.70 to $1686.00 per week
Position: This position is responsible for developing and reviewing Hilltops Council Strategic Information Systems, planning, investigating, analysing and recommending options for the provision of state of the art Information Technology services and providing expert administration to Council’s Information Systems to protect Council’s business information and intellectual property.
Experience: The successful applicant will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or similar, experience in a similar role including personal computers in a network environment, demonstrated experience in researching, developing, implementing and supporting Information Services Systems (especially LGIS), Intranet, GIS, file servers and remote access clients, demonstrated expert knowledge of systems necessary to ensure protection of Council’s business information and intellectual property incorporating business continuity and disaster recovery, excellent written (including report writing), verbal communication and presentation skills, with highly developed consultation and negotiation skills, demonstrated budgeting, financial management, leadership and supervisory skills that promote high team performance with an ability to coach and mentor, the ability to work cooperatively with other areas of the organisation to achieve agreed outcomes and an unrestricted Class C drivers licence.
