• Based in Boorowa / Harden or Young
  • Full-time / 35 hours per fortnight / nine-day fortnight
  • Salary range between $1802.50 to $1997.20 per week.

Position: The Communications Manager is responsible for leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive communications and engagement framework to ensure the Hilltops community is informed, engaged and a genuine partner in Council activities.

Experience: The successful applicant will have tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism, demonstrated high level experience in communications within the public sector preferably at multiple levels, working with media and a diverse range of external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes and experience with managing social media and digital communication channels, high level oral and written communication skills, including researching, writing, editing and proofreading skills across a range of communication tools, excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, the ability to meet deadlines, prioritise work and adapt to an environment of changing priorities and a Class C Drivers Licence.
