Boorowa Recreation Park all abilities makeover underway

30/10/2018
Hilltops Council are pleased to advise that work has commenced on the upgrade of the Boorowa Recreation Park located in Market Street. The works involve the removal of existing play equipment and sand softfall and installation of all ability inclusive play equipment and rubber softfall.

“This inclusive play space offers a variety of options for children to choose from and will help to promote active play within the Boorowa community while providing a social space for the community to enjoy.”  Said Hilltops Mayor Brian Ingram.

The playground has been designed for children from one to sixteen years of age and will help children build problem solving skills and receive the physical benefits of gross motor skill development and exercise.
This project has been funded through the New South Wales Governments Stronger Communities Fund following a successful application submitted by Hilltops Council.

The park will remain closed until completion of the project which is expected to be prior to 30 November 2018.
