PROJECT DELIVERY OFFICER/PROJECT MANAGER 

  • 3 roles - up to 3 years fixed-term

Our project delivery officers/project managers are responsible for ensuring successful development, monitoring and implementation of Council’s project and contract management systems and frameworks. Furthermore, they are responsible for ensuring efficient, consistent and successful delivery of infrastructure projects across the organisation.

CIVIL CONSTRUCTION ASSISTANT


Hilltops Council’s Civil Construction Assistants form the backbone of the Infrastructure Services division, providing the manual labour required for fulfilling for Council’s Infrastructure construction and maintenance programs across the region. This role will predominately work from the Young Works depot, but can be asked to commence work from any location in the region.

ROAD MAINTENANCE COUNCIL CONTRACTS (RMCC) DELIVERY ENGINEER

The RMCC Delivery Engineer position provides the main engineering support for the Manager Civil Operations and ensures the timely and cost-effective delivery of Road Maintenance Council Contracts (RMCC) works and other ordered works programs, working closely with the Roads and Maritime Services (RMS).

WORKS ENGINEERS - HARDEN & YOUNG (two positions)

Council's Work Engineers are responsible for undertaking the planning, management & delivery of Council’s capital, maintenance and construction works in either district under the Hilltops region. SENIOR PROJECT OFFICER - WASTE STRATEGY (1-year fixed-term)

The Senior Project Officer - Waste Strategy position is responsible for the management of Council’s Waste Strategy - overseeing completion, release & roll-out of the strategy while ensuring compliance with the relevant legislation. Furthermore, you will be tasked with providing technical waste management and recycling advice, promoting and delivering education/awareness programs and reviewing major contracts.

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST - CASUAL POOL ATTENDANTS/LIFEGUARDS

Pool lifeguards are required across the hilltops region to help in the supervision of the Boorowa, Harden & Jugiong pools from November 2019 to March 2020. Council is seeking expressions of interest from members of the community who would like to be involved in this.

The role is remunerated at Grade 1 of Hilltops Council Salary System. This has a normal hourly rate between $22.58 and $24.94 p/h, and as a casual position, there is also a casual loading of 25% applicable.
